    11.5.6.0 Fails to initialise

    On attemting to update to 11.5.6.0, setup hangs at "initializing....." and gets no further.

    Turning off anti-virus does not help

    Any ideas?

    I m not sure what could cause that, but sometimes Wix writes an error log.

    Btw, have just posted 11.5.7 for a customer requests, so you could try that.

    Update.

    I left the installer running overnight (on a fast desktop machine) and it worked.

    Now trying version 11.5.7

    Just for interest were would the install log and/or error log be stored?
