    Error when buying sea maps through Expedition

    Hi, when trying to buy C-maps through Expeditions I receive the following error:
    "our records show that this device was registered by another user"
    I have just bought the license from an authorized Swedish reseller so I donot understand why I get this error, what can I do?

    sounds like it is talking about the laptop - not the expedition license...

    i think the maps are locked to the motherboard some how.., at least i was told once, by c-map, that if i got a new motherboard for my laptop, i would need them to issue me a new c-map license.

    c-map have given me a new license a few times when i got entirely new laptops

    where did you get the laptop?

    Thanks for your answer but in my case both the license and the labtop are new.  It is the first time that I am trying to buy C-maps inside Expeditions

    In the USA I have had pretty good service over the telephone from C-map, when i had installation problems.

    Hello,

    There have been a few cases of this. What it means is that the C-Map system is confusing your computer with someone else's. The only solution is to contact C-Map.
