What is the best way to keep track of sail changes and is there any way for it to show up on the log files?

I understand the sail chart and love how it works with route optimization and how it marks on the the sail chart the ideal sail for the current conditions.  However, that's not alway that sail that you are on.  I know that I can keep notes of what sail we are changing to, but it would be helpful when we go back to the log files to have that data there?

Any suggestions?  or would this be a reasonable enhancement request (of course only if it does not already exist).
