Trying to import Expedition waypoints into a new B&G Zeus3s chartplotter. Any hints?. Have seen video from Actisense and found Easy GPS. What's the best way? If Expedition has WP by race, will they get imported into Zeus that way?

I think there have been similar topics on the forum in the past.

Hi Michael, I had the same issue. Contacted B&G a couple of month ago and it seems they have now released new functionality to support this. The links below provide the path for you to follow for importing your Expedition GPX files to your Zeus 3S. They talk about using the C-Map app but you can ignore that. I use the B&G App and have the Zeus 3S logged into my B&G Account. Once you have imports the GPX file into your B&G App on your phone it should then appear in your Routes on the Zeus 3S.

So the way to get routes into our new ZeusS while at sea is to use Starlink. Wow, who saw that coming?

It is amusing.
I think the solution in previous topics was to use ftp.

Nick, please can you point me to the FTP guidance you referenced.

Try the forum search function with the words ftp & zeus.

Thanks, was on a mobile and couldn’t find search. Now found using desktop view.

Be careful with that Zeus sync tool; when I tried it on a plotter, it treated the external web app source as the "source of truth" and wiped out all the tracks/routes locally created on the plotter.

The Zesus S user experience is comical to say the least.
RE waypoints: the other way is to export Expedition's waypoints, put it in a USB stick, that the Zeus S might or might not recognize, open the MFD case, hopefully it is not raining, insert the USB stick and import the waypoints, then...
Supper easy, insert sarcasm.
BTW B&G claims in their documentation that the Zesus S can receive waypoint and route data over N2K but clearly does not. I opened a case 8-9 months ago and sadly I got crickets.
