There's a good chance you're right. I remember some yaers ago I used OpenOffice to assemble race notes and now I've upgraded (ahum) to Excel, opening a new can of worms.

This afternoon I upgraded to 11.19.3 and am not experiencing this issue. I did slim down the Marks folder since lots of marks in the folder seem to slow down opening.

Haven't upgraded for a while, but I remember being able to import Sail Notes generated in Excel. At the moment I have quite a list in the exact format that was imported last year, however now it fails. I've tried all four available .csv flavours. I was able to import, not as .csv, but as .txt file. This works for the actual positions, but all the names are thrown on one spot, rendering them to be illegible. The .csv format I'm using at the moment looks like this:

Sunk TSS South,
051 42.16n,001 43.18e
051 42.63n,001 50.12e
051 38.80n,001 50.81e
051 38.31n,001 43.88e

Right now I'm on v11 19.3

Hi NoRay,

Thanks for the contact. Victory at last, C-Map support came up,with a solution \o/

After filling out the credit card details for the upgrade, you get a lot of script warnings eventually leading to a blank screen. Don’t worry, persevere. Close the C-Map Map Manager shop, go back to Expedition and restart the Map Manager. In your account the transaction is marked as INIT. Close the shop and go to My Maps. Now comes the scary part: remove your current map. Then again nothing happens. By now you must get used to this. Close and restart Maps Manager and there is a download button for your new map. The rest is self explanatory. Totally illogical even for Vulcans, but nevertheless succesful. Anyway I’m covered for the coming Fastnet.

Live long and prosper,

Thanks NoRay. Sorry for the delay in answering this. Had some nasty Windows 10 .dll file trouble in my laptop.
I just did a clean install and was hoping to finally do an update, but alas. I have 5 FAILED update attempts and 2 INIT's in my transactions in the C-Map Store. The trouble seems to be at evopayments.eu that handles the credit card processing for C-Map.
I've also tried support on the C-Map.com website, but even that failed due to not loading the 'I'm not a robot Captchas'. I give up and wait for the day Navionics opens up their chart data for Expedition.

Issue solved!

My C-Map North-west European Coasts EW-D227 is rather old. I checked with Expedition users who updated their chart recently and they report no problems anymore.

Just tried to update my North West European Chart EW-D227 from within Expedition. After some issues in the C-Map store with scripts not running, I eventually managed to pay for the update. The card was processed and than.... nothing happens. After half an hour without any feedback I leave the store and find an update notification in the My Maps section of C-Map extension within Expedition. The update button is not an actual button, it activates a drop down window with a 0% progress bar. Again for nothing happens. I close C-Map and restart Expedition. Back to the C-Map store. In my account the transaction I just did has an INIT status. Going to My Maps reveals no update anymore, just my old map that I can only Remove or Disable. By now I'm tempted to remove this map altogether, but I resist. Why has C-Map programmed this app so incredibly user unfriendly. No feedback and nowhere a support mail address to be found. Does somebody have a clue what went wrong?

We've had some issues with the Dutch Coast Guard regarding the 500 mtr/0.27 Nm keeping clear distance from the Q13a production platform off the Dutch Coast at position 052 11.5N, 004 8.17E.

Problem is that the 500 mtr distance circle on the C-Map chart is not zooming proportionally to the rest of the map. At closer zoom levels the circle diameter becomes much smaller than reality, so there is the risk of getting too close to the platform. The Dutch Coast Guard is monitoring AIS tracks of sailing vessels in the vicinity, as I've found out unfortunately. Zooming out of a few levels brings back the correct distance.

We've checked the C-Map zooming behavior in a certain French Navigation program of the same platform. This was found to be correct.

In a previous version of Expedition, BSH gribs were not displayed at all on my CMAP 4D charts. Checking MyOcean gribs via Squid showed proper current arrows. Now I've downloaded vs11.4.3.1 and BSH gribs are not downloaded at all.. However the BSH gribs downloaded by the old version of Expedition are displayed correctly. MyOcean current gribs work fine in the new version.

From the installation manual:
It is recommended to install UUPlus in the default directory, C:\UUPlus6\ (D:\UUPlus6\ or C:\Apps\UUPlus6\ would be fine as well. Do not install UUPlus in any directory that has space characters in the directory name, such as under "C:\Program Files\"

UUPlus seems to bypass a lot of Windows 10 meddling. It would be great to have the option to directly access this program from SailDocs
