In the optimal routing settings, there is an option in configuration that is optimize from current position and time.
If that is unticked, it will use the active waypoint as your starting point. Make sure you tell expedition what time and date you want to run your routes.

Hello all,
Expedition doesnt seem to be receiving trim?
I can see it in the B&G system but not in expedition. It's a H5000 connected via ethernet.

If you send me an email, I can add you to the demo report.

We have a web server that you can upload all your graphs, daily track, Polars etc for the whole crew to view. There is also the option for PDFs. I tend to upload the PDF to the web server and then any of the crew can download it to view it.

Hi,
The youtube videos are probably the best resource at the moment, and we are always trying to update them and release new ones. If you have any specific questions you can email me lockie@sailingperformance.com. There is also the RaceReplay reference guide in the downloads section of the Sailing Performance website, although this is not always up to date.

For doing calibration I use the calibration report in race replay for doing post race calibration and it works well. Its important to track and Cal changes you make on water while your sailing so when you do your analysis after the race you know what was done when. I often have a spreadsheet or a notepad doc running to track the changes so I am chasing my tail to much.

Thanks Nick,
Is there anyway to Map them in Expedition to channels and do the maths to make the read in Kgs?

Hi All,

We have some N2K pressure sensors sending pressure data over the N2K that we can read on the Zeus screens. They are currently in PSI. Does anyone know a way for Expedition to read these and then convert them to Kgs? We have a antisense so I am assuming I can see them somewhere.
The processor is a Hercules, and the pressure sensors are not read by it as far as I can tell.

If you want to get AIS you will still need to get that from Zues over WIFI. You can normally have the ethernet plugged into the H5000 and connect to one of the zues to get AIS datal.

Glad it all worked out. Hopefully someone will chime in about the IP address, as I am curious to know.

Hey Murray, Long time no speak,

The other thing to try is can you get the GPS data from the Zeus? I am sure I have done that before to get myself out of trouble. If you have the Zeus set up to send data over 0183, you can connect expedition to it via wifi. I know this works for AIS, so assuming it would work for all data. It might get you going until someone can give you a proper solution.

The IP address of the CPU sounds wrong as I thought they were all locked to 192.168.1.2. Someone smarter then me will need to chime in of that.
