Optimal Routing from Dock
Hello all,
I tried searching for this and I have been playing around with routing settings but I have not been able to find and answer to this. Besides turning off various "Avoid Land" settings, is there a way to run an optimum route with the laptop plugged into the NMEA network at the boat while at the dock? I have the first mark outside my marina but I am at the dock and the software, correctly assumes the first part of my course is on or very near to land. Is there a way to start routing from my first mark and not at the boat, which is at the dock?

In the optimal routing settings, there is an option in configuration that is optimize from current position and time.
If that is unticked, it will use the active waypoint as your starting point. Make sure you tell expedition what time and date you want to run your routes.

Oh that works, I know that option well, that certainly works. I can just put it like 30 mins in the future or whatever and it works. Thanks for the tip!
