H5000 - Deckman Connection - redirect data to serial port
Hello Everybody,
Boat has H5000 and expedition installed. Navigator want to use Deckman, both software run on the same laptop.
Expedition is connected through websocket and working properly.
there is a way to redirect data from expedition to deckman? like using the UDP boradcast and a virtual serial port?
or other way?
there is anybody that has done this setup?

You could add a HLink connection to the H5000.

You mean through, Serial connection, I know. but for some reason seems not working.
We try also to sniff data through realterm., but seems data are not coming.

Hi, no idea if it works, but you might try to use ip 127.0.0.1 when on the same laptop

Hi, no idea if it works, but you might try to use ip 127.0.0.1 when on the same laptop. Or perhaps use a program like Navmonpc as intermediate.

UK344 thank you for the link, seems very interesting.The navigator end up using Expedition instead of deckman, so the need has ceased, but anyway thanks to everybody for the help
