GPS Puck no data

I've updated from old ver Exp on Win 10 to new version on Win 11.  The VFAN model UG-353 puck GPS that worked before shows no data on Exp, but device manager says it's happy.  All settings look good.  Any suggestions?  Garmin works OK thru the Garmin app.
Thx, pjl

Re: GPS Puck no data

Yes, and serial port monitor shows data is being received.  Can't find that function in this version, it used to be included in Exp.  Still puzzeled.  Thx for reply, hoping Nick will shed some light.

Re: GPS Puck no data

Towards the top of the instrument settings window there is a section that allows you to choose which connection is for GPS position. You can use it to switch between various sources in the case of having multiple instruments connections that can supply GPS. Maybe check there that it is looking at the right connection.

Re: GPS Puck no data

What am I missing?  Correct GPS source selected and there is data coming from that source, per a serial logger app.  Garmin input works with the linking app. device worked with old Exp version
