Anyone have the magic settings for getting a usb connection to an Axiom Raymarine system. I tried a variety of NEMA settings but couldn’t find one that got data. I can see the come port is active and can see raw data.

What does the raw data look like?
What does the Expedition NMEA 0183 connection page look like.

It’s NMEA 2000 allegedly Actisense NGT didn’t seem to work. The NEMA 0183 data looks random so maybe it is some type of 2000

Ok apparently its hooked into the AIS on the same network, Vesper xb-6000 watch mate

Ok it appears to be communicating on NMEA 183 38400 baud. Still missing heading and wind data.

I connected Exp to an Axiom system via an ethernet adapter with success.
What model of Actisense are you using?

I’m not it was going through the AIS as it turns out, not all the data was making it though. I guess we should invest in an Actisense unit?

I can't definitely comment without seeing the data, but it is possible the raymarine isn't sendig TWD etc. In which case you would need to tell Exp to calculate them.

Campbell,
Can you recommend a model that worked for you? Maybe that's the route I should go rather than trying to tease this system into working..

I thought of that, but Expedition didn't seem to get heading and didn't seem to compute when I used COG for heading either.
