Expedition - not able to open

During the N2E race last weekend, we closed Expedition but could not get it to reopen. We rebooted Expedition, no luck, rebooted the computer, no luck and then disconnected the B&G and rebooted the B&G and the computer and it came back.  Very concerned about longer voyage like the upcoming Transpac.  We are working off a brand new Dell computer.  If you can advise, that would be helpful.

Re: Expedition - not able to open

Do you know which version of Exp?

Are there any error messages?

Are you using C-Map charting? if so - MAX or 4D?

One mode I know about is if the 4D system crashes, it can keep a thread running for a long time which means you will be able to see Exp in Windows' task manager.

If you look at task manager when this happens, is Expedition still shown as running?

We updated the to latest version of Expedition today but now cannot see the C-map charts. How do we load the C-MAP 4D charts if anyone knows?

Re: Expedition - not able to open

Have you looked at the maps manager interface in Exp?

Also see the Exp help on 4D.
