I have expedition installed on a surface pro running windows 10 pro - I installed under my personal user account with admin privilege. I would like to create a "crewmember" user on this machine so that when the laptop is used for sailing - this user can be used for expedition. This way I can limit access to confidential information and admin privileges. What are the steps to do this for an existing install, When I tried doing this (creating a new user) - expedition didn't see the programData\expedition directory that already exists on the machine. It seemed like a fresh install and needed regkeys etc.

You would have to give the new user account access to the Exp data folder (and all the files in it).
Right click on C:\ProgramData\Expedition\ , select properties etc

Thanks. That worked.
I need one more step for the charts.....
I have ....
#1 - Created a crew login account (crewmember)
#2 - Changed permissions to expedition by granting access to new account (crewmember) via file explorer
Now when the account is logged into and expedition started it works and finds my marks all is good except the CMAPs are not visible on the new account (crewmember)
While logged in as crew member - When I go to CMAP on expedition and select NT Selector it can't find the program and I cannot find how to assign the directory of where the program is...
On the original account (where everything works) it can find NT+/Max PC Selector Program and all the associated charts that I have purchased - when I select it from CMAP option
I have granted full access to the following directories as well to the new user account (crewmember)
C:\ProgramData\CMAP
C:\ProgramData\C-MAP NT PC Selector
What are the next steps that I need to do to allow the new account on the same PC to access the installed charts

Normally NT Selector is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\C-MAP NT PC Selector
I don't know whether it works for multiple user acocunts or not. There may be an option when you install it.
