U-Blox Virtual Com port for GPS

Anyone have experience with the u-blox virtual com port to get around the windows sensor drivers for a USB GPS receiver?  The com port works fine with NMEA sleuth and open CPN, but expedition does not seem to be getting any data, port shows open, configuration is good, some of the sentences being sent are: $GNGLL, $GNGSV, $GNGST, $GNGRS, $GNZDA

Re: U-Blox Virtual Com port for GPS

Can you see data in the raw data window?

Have you selected the port as the GPS source in Exp?

I don't recommend the Windows sensors in general ...

Thanks Campbell, the answer was in fact in that thread, I rolled back the Virtual com port driver to the older 2.3 version and that solved the issue, expedition is now able to read the data.
