USB from Garmin GND10

I’m on a charter boat on a regatta with Garmin instruments. The GND10 has an USB connector and it’s manual says it’s used with software like Expedition. How do I use the data from it?

Re: USB from Garmin GND10

See the 'Garmin FDX and GND10' topic in the Expedition help under instruments.

Re: USB from Garmin GND10

sorry, dont see how I missed that. Would start line and gun time transfer here? I only had 2 days on the boat.

Another thing - these baots always have Garmin GMI20 displays. I was trying to send data to them, but they seems only to display data from the other garmin devices. I have GNX120 and GNX 130 displays and they happily display custom channels from Expedition. Is there a way to have these small displays show things like polar% etc?

thanks

Re: USB from Garmin GND10

I believe the GMI20 should. Some other small displays don't.

They might need a firmware update if old.
