Expedition Navigation Software

Hello,
I have a B&G H5000 Hercules system I have a laptop running expedition 4D
I have enabled log boats in settings.
I have eithernet connection from laptop to H5000 via web socket and I see data. Strip Chart is not enabled.
so I left it on and motored out to start, saw it was recording GPS track. I assumed it was collecting data.
I got into a protest in race had shut down system and left quickly to file on time .
When I got to looking at the data - I do not see instrument data until line 28919 in excel. I am getting the gps data from start to finish.
Please advise is this a bug or a system issue on my side.
Thanks much
Tom

It is probably an issue on your computer, hopefully a one time event.
Expedition should log a new line of data whenever it receives new data.

Nick - it seems to be working right now. Um I have 2 additional questions - not related. Should I create a new thread?
1) when I go to settings and change depth to ft from Meters and click on save - expedition reboots and does not save change,
2) What is decoder for UTC in my recorded files - Utc
44342.810944342.8109244342.81093ect...
I cannot figure out how to change this to something I can use

The UTC is a Microsoft DATE type. Easily read by Excel etc.
I am not sure I understand the first question. Where are you 'clicking on save'? Which version of Exp? What sort of charting?

Nick,
regarding 1st question let me correctly ask it again:
Expedition V 11.10.8 for C-MAP 4D
I am want to set depth to ft as I am a Yank.
Settings/System go to depth & height and change m to ft
click on OK
I get the spinning circle and Expedition then closes. When I re-open depth & height is it is still on m. Minor issue for sure
thanks again

Thanks.
Unfortunately, it doesn't have the same problem here. It might be something in C-Map, but my go to solution for any unexplained problems is to use the Expedition System Restore all installed with Expedition.
Note that you can back up (Export settings) Expedition settings from the menu at the top left of Expedition if you are worried about losing them.
