Display Expedition Polars on H5000 system

Hello,  newer user.  trying to display my new polars from Expedition using H5000 MDF displays.
I am connected thru websocket .

So I then go to BG H5000 websocket settings button.
go to custom external 0 pick the expedition channel

Now i need to find the external channel ("external 0" on my B&G MDF and pick it to display as one of the channels.  Not sure how to do this ......working on it.

Correct?

Any other tips from users would be appreciated.

Re: Display Expedition Polars on H5000 system

Normally I would upload the polars from Expedition to the h5000 and use them in the system.

Re: Display Expedition Polars on H5000 system

Ok that makes sense and a better solution.
I was concerned that the H5000 would truncate some of the numbers.
Question:  Do the polars copy exactly over to B&G
Process Question:
so I would go to B&G H5000 websocket
Pick "B&G polars"add the polars (copy from performance polar)
Then pick " upload to B&G"?

One more question - When I was using custom channel used external 0 picked Target bsp.  I was able to pick it on my B&G mdf  no problem.  But when I tried to apply damping found Target bsp added 30 seconds and checked damp box in custom channel
Target bsp numbers did not damp. or appear to damp.
any suggestions as I may import other channels?
thanks for your help

Re: Display Expedition Polars on H5000 system

It also means you don't need the computer to get polar data from the H5.

Expedition interpolates the polar data to the table required by the H5000. The twa & tws values are probably shown in the H5 manual.

Yes, that is the process.

The targets etc probably use Expedition's damped tws.
