    Shortcut or serial key for Event?

    Hi
    I have a serial remote (two actually, for 8 buttons) which I use to store start lines and start the countdown.

    I’d love to store sail changes and other events but we are short handed and I don’t have the time to click on icons and menus on the iPad. Can we have a store even shortcut (that I can program on a custom keyboard) or a serial keypress?

    Some people just use the User ribbon and you can add buttons to this.
    ​
    It is also easy to add items to it the events option list.

    Maybe email me with more details about what you want.

    Sorry I just realized there is a way at the ribbon controls to assign custom keyboard shortcuts. I’m thinking about putting a waterproof usb numpad to the helm and program 1-9 buttons to what I need.
