Has anyone had luck pairing a Bad Elf GPS/Pro unit with windows and then using the Windows sensors>Use GPS choice off the Expedition>Instruments menu? I have no problem pairing the Windows 10 box with the Bad Elf. But, within Expedition, it always says "No Windows GPS sensors found."
Thanks,
Joe

If it is Bluetooth, it probably appears as a serial port to Exp.

And how would I get access to it?
Thanks,

When you click on the Instrument button in Exp, it should be listed as a serial port.

I do that, but still at the bottom of Expedition I see: "No Position Fix"

Any other information?
What does the raw data window in Exp show?

It shows a "camel in a snowstorm." Blank. GPS is on, satellites showing, bluetooth paired.

There isn't enough information to make any comment, but:
If there is no data in the raw data stream, you probably don't have a connection then. The connection window in Exp wil say open or closed. If it says open, you may have the wrong baud rate.
Remember only one app on the computer can have a serial port open at a time.
Have you read the Exp help on instruments?

I've read the help. Nothing there. I do not know which window is the "connection window." I do not see an window that has open or closed on it. No app is using the Bad Elf. Where do I find the connection window?
