Order in which Exp uses GRIB files

A question I haven't been able to find a definitive answer on in the help file:

Assume you have loaded multiple weather grib files into Expedition and these are all marked as active (under Settings - Weather).
- The grib file overlap in geographical area and time window they cover
- Some gribs have higher resolution than others (e.g. from different forecast models)
- Some gribs are more recent than others (e.g. different update times from the various weather models), but all grib are still covering the time window under observation.

When you run a route optimization, which grib is Exp using?   The more recent one or the one with the highest resolution?

When you display the channels "Predicted MSLP",  "Predicted GWD"  and "Predicted GWS",   which grib is used to take this data from?

Same question for Current Grib files.

Re: Order in which Exp uses GRIB files

Exp uses the most recent and if two are from the same run, then it uses the higher resolution.

If two are from the same time and have the same resolution, it could use either - unless you have told Exp to use one model.
