All,
I created a route and noticed that a section is showing a dashed line in the route.
What does the "dashed" section represent? I could not find the answer in the help file.
Thanks

Steve, Those are areas where you would likely be tacking and gybing for the best VMG
If you do a search on 'dotted' or 'dashed' you'll likely find more.
Cheers,

I had the same question about dotted lines, but when I was optimizing a route. It seems there must be more to it than what Ernie stated above because some parts of the same line between points on the same tack are solid and some are dashed lines.

That is all it is - the dashed section indicates tacking or gybing. In the results table, it will have twa values like (-16)
