    10.4.17

    cJus downloaded 4D 10.4.17 to a Surface Pro 4. After installing and restarting, I get the message " The program Can't start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling etc etc".' I've reinstalled it twice but still get the same problem.

    It is one of the components installed by Exp.

    Make sure you have the full install download and try installer as an administrator.

    ​You can also manually install them, see the vcredist download on the Exp download page

    I am a new user and  just downloaded and installed the latest version v.10.7.24 4D.
    Once I try to start Expediton4D I receive the "Expedition.exe - System Error"  which says " ..code execution canto proceed because MSVCR110.dll is missing.." 
    I re-installed and it's the same. And yes I am the administrator ... The PC is a brand new i7 with 16GB Ram and Win10

    I had a similar problem...when I reloaded it I got a screen that had a "Repair" button, clicked that and it work fine.

    That is a Microsoft component. You could try manually installing it, there is a vc_redist near the bottom of the Expedition download web page.

    Nick, thanks for your answer. I have a 64-bit operating system. I tried first the "vc_redist.x86.exe" .. it did not work... than I uninstalled Expedition and installed  "vc_redist.x64.exe"... than re-installed Expedition. I still receive the same error...." ..code execution canto proceed because MSVCR110.dll is missing.."

    It will be something wrong with the VC_redist installation and/or your computer.

    I have received a error message re missing cmWin32.dll. Can you advise how to fix this?
