Is it time to update windows 7

Hi
as the newly installed (beginner) navigator on a 40ft yacht I have been working hard at coming to grips with the expensive electronics and PC.
Things improved greatly when i improved instrument calibration and updated the old expedition to the current version.
It all runs on a Samsung 900X laptop with Windows 7 SP1 64 bit operating system. This PC is exclusively for the boat.
My question is
From a purely Expedition performance/ compatibility viewpoint is there a reason to upgrade to Windows 10?
I'm a bit of a ïf it ain't broke don't fix it" guy and I only need Expedition to run well.
There is a small break in the race schedule now, so it would be the time.

looking forward to leaning a lot off this forum as it grows.
(I won't have time to learn everything the hard way)
Happy New Year!

Hello,
Exp definitely works better on Windows 10. Not every computer can be updated though. Rgrds, Nick

Thanks for the advice, I've sent you a PM about an issue I'm having (I'm sure its my issue.....or as I say in my industry
its a POBCAK (Problem originates between chair and keyboard.))
Checking on impossibilities now.
