Re: YB Tracking

Got that, but my inquiry is what does the "targets" preset mean.  I only see targets in the AIS section of commands; is that the required check?
Cheers,  pjl

Re: YB Tracking

You need more than one to see a track. The boat positions will be interpolated to the display time.

Also, if you deselect a boat to be drawn, it won't

Re: YB Tracking

When you enter start times in the boat data, should those times be in the local time zone of your PC  (assuming Exp is set to use local time)?
And what about the date, as it is a time-only field?

Re: YB Tracking

They do have a date part, but Windows doesn't display that for the null time. Maybe I should get Exp to set it to be blank to start with.

Eg, try settings a start timer, then click the 'set all start times to gun' button.

Re: YB Tracking

Hi Nick
Is there a way to import yb tracking through iridium go?
Thanks

Re: YB Tracking

You can use XGate between Exp and the Iridium Go, but I suspect something like the Sailmail Airmail app might be the best option.

Someone else might be able to comment.

Re: YB Tracking

i think with the Go, email is the best way to get the position files.
I use Xgate.
I have only been able to use the Expedition YB download with a broadband connection - Fleet Broadband, or VSat,
