Good morning,
This is a big release, with a lot of new features and improvements. In no particular order, it includes:
B&G H5000 GoFree (not for XP),
Improved and faster isochronal routing,
Extended Grib2 support,
NMEA 2000 and Garmin display update,
Ockam and H2000 support update,
Navico Broadband radar update, also includes HALO radar,
Copy Saildocs email request to clipboard if can't create email,
Speed and start distance units options,
Radar PPI window update,
Custom data folder location option,
Reconnect network instruments button on the instruments menu and QAT,
SkewT diagrams for weather people,
PWE download
Unfortunately, this requires new licence keys, available at no extra cost.

Indications were to the effect that I successfully downloaded and installed 10.5.1 but I could not get Expedition to open even after restarting the PC. When I attempted to uninstall 10.5.1 and reinstall 10.4.17 the indications were to the effect that another version of Exp was installed and was preventing the reinstallation of 10.4.17. All of this despite restarting the PC after the installations / uninstallations. The problem occurs on my laptop and desktop, neither of which now can open any version of Expedition. Anyone have any ideas?
Like Sleepless in Seattle; this is F'd in Fort Lauderdale.

I've just installed (on Win 10) x 2 fine, no dramas at all. I take it you installed a new License Key from Nick?

D,
With infinite patience for my ineptitude Nick helped out with the Windows fix set forth above and it was also possible but crankier to use Expedition System Restore to overcome my issues. The problem was entirely internal to my system and not associated with the new 10.5.1. As I understand it, the issue was associated with 10.4.17 not being completely uninstalled during the installation of 10.5.1 despite indications to that effect.
Fully up and running again now on desktop and laptop with everything licensed and squared away.
Thanks for asking.
Joe

Unfortunately the upgrade to version 10.5.2 (normal and 4d) was not successfully. Neither on my laptop nor on my boat pc. Both Pc’s running Windows 10 Enterprise. Version 10.4.17 is running without problems. Uninstallation of version 4.17 prior to installation 5.2 doesn’t help. Any further ideas?

We have traced some problems to loading the previous optimal route at start-up. So, if that option was enabled, it might be the problem.
About to post a fix for it.
