Hi,

We are using expedition on a J109, when we use Optimise it says to use sails that we don't have in the system. It keeps telling us to use things like the A0 but in the sails section we only have a mainsail and 2 head sails.

Is there a way to force it to use only the sails we own?

You should have a valid sail chart for your boat loaded in Exp.
You best create the chart in Excel and then store it as .txt file. Take the sample sail chart as provided (in the ProgramData\sails folder) as an example to work from. Your sail chart should only contain reference to the 2 head sails you have (e.g. J1 and J2).

What? Isn't this an opportunity to tell the skinflint owner that his one job is to pay for everything? Expedition says so; it must be correct!

Yes, it just shows the sails in your sail chart. You must have an A0 in it
