Evaluating "Zone" at mark roundings by Track?

Had a mild dispute on whether we were overlapped at last Beercan, and wanted to check the track to see if we were actually at the 3 Boat length point before we gybed.

I can plot the track, and know where the mark is by the turning radius, and can set a range circle that represents boat length in nm.

Question is whether the "track" is the calculated bow (offset from GPS) or the GPS (on stern rail).and in a log file the position is raw or corrected?

It is the position of the GPS.

Thanks, that makes sense from viewing but had wanted to be sure.

Which would actually be the position of the antenna, correct?

Yes,

So with a 12 Meter vessel and the antenna at the stern, I would be at the Zone at 0.048 nm assuming a head on approach.

As I was slightly divergent due to gybe angle, it's not quite that clean, but close enough.
a feature that automagically warned you 3 boat lengths (or 4 in my case) from the mark would be cute, but not sure how useful, would need to be audible.
