Time to burn not accurate when heading away from line

I'm having trouble with my start line burn times - they work fine when heading toward the line but not when heading away from it.  I haven't had this problem before - Expedition used to choose the shortest time to the line to calculate burn time.  I have checked my start polars, accel, ROT and brake cals. - no issues.

Is this a problem with my settings or a software issue?  Any ideas?

Am using V.12.11.6x64 for Navionics and a new B&G Hercules processor.

Re: Time to burn not accurate when heading away from line

The burn time is just the difference between the time to the line and the time to the gun.

You can select which times are used in the minimum time to the line. That is probably the first thing to check.

Some people don't use the brake cal.

There was a bug in several releases before 12.11.6 with calibration table interpolation.

Thanks Nick - settings look OK there but will try again.  I didn't have GPS time to line checked because of an issue with our GPS (now fixed) so will try with that checked.

Re: Time to burn not accurate when heading away from line

GPS time to line won't be calculated if you are heading away from it.

If you have all the desired options selected, the most likely problem is with a cal - ROT or Accel etc
