2+ day race is showing 5 days

I updated expediton to latest version yesterday.  When I optimized an established route last night it showed 5 days, when it should be 2-2.5 days. The boat speed in results is substantially lower than it should be for the wind conditions.  What could have changed from running the route the day before? I've looked at % of polar speed and they are set to 95% day and 90% night.  Some hints on what to check.

Mike
Did you use the same WX models and start the race at the same time?

Extend Wind in time can give flucky results if the forecast ends on a low note.

Just Guessin...

Re: 2+ day race is showing 5 days

Ernie, I used the GFS model for last several days including the two that both gave me 5 day races.  Started at same day and time.  Because I used GFS for 5-6 days, it shouldn't have been an extended wind situation.
Thanks for responding.  I will be moving to the computer on the boat in a short time.  I have been using the backup software.  So hopefully not going to happen on it. I wondered if it had something to do with the version update.

Re: 2+ day race is showing 5 days

Two other people have seen that, but when I try with their data, polars and route it all works out ok.

Maybe email me with the details.

Re: 2+ day race is showing 5 days

There appears to be a bug in the air density calculation. Will investigate.

In the meantime, disable the Adjust polar for Air Density option.

Have fixed the air density calculation.
