My last entry into log_ais was on 3/21/25... Does anyone know if the YDEN-02 emits AIS data that Expedition Marine can process for EM boat tracking to work? I know the YDEN-02 does emit AIS PGNs, but the fragments are not always in sequence. If YDEN-02 is not compatible, is there any other non-USB attached device that is?
Apparently the problem was due to the configuration of the YD device server.

Greetings Nick. I have installed the NGX-1-USB, updated the firmware to the current version, running Exp on a Win 11 Pro, can see PGN sentences through the NMEA reader on 115200 baud but the same information does not show in the number boxes in Exp nor does the boat position seem to be recognized. Is there some way to confirm Exp has connected to data stream?

Have you closed NMEA reader etc before trying to connect to the comm port with Expedition?

As Campbell suggests, there can only be one connection.
The port connection window in Exp will show whether the port os open or closed. If open, you will be able to see incoming data in the raw data window.

Thank you kindly for your responses. Still struggling.
From the N2K reader I have confirmed that I am receiving the N2K PGN named Position, # 129025 with lat/lon values.
I have then closed the N2K reader and pushed the reconnect button on Exp still no values. I have also power cycled the computer and only opened Exp and pressed reconnect with out success. The follow boat on the chart clearly does not have a position and the number boxes are empty. Is it possible the PGN numbers are mismatching?
Nick you mention the raw data window. I cannot figure out how to open a raw data window.
I have both NMEA 0183 and n2k values in the data stream. Is it possible that is creating some conflict?

Does the Comm port say ope/closed at the top in Exp > instruments?

Maybe DM me and we can troubleshoot quickly with a remote session

The raw data window is on the instrument connection page.
You will not have both NMEA 0183 and 2000 data in the raw data window, although I don't see how you know that if you haven't opened the Raw data window ...
