    Seems like this is turning into a feature request.  I'll add my 2 cents...

    Luckgrib has a good implementation of this function.  In addition to remembering the geo area of interest (a la Sparky and Fergal), Luckgrib also tells the user whether the selected models have updated since the last download.  So with a single button push the user can update any models that have changed while avoiding the extra data download of unchanged models.

    I am currently working on v3 of the Grib server, mainly to improve performance, reduce server load and improve scalability.

    Will think about this after. It haven't added it, mainly because it is simple to just select an area and mostly each selection is custom to what I want.

    One option would be a button to go to the Exp grib window directly, using the last bounds selected.
