Solved: Exp 12.5.9 Crashes after updating
I have updated Expedition to 12.5.9 on both my boat laptop (Surface Pro 9) and Desktop. The laptop works fine. The Desktop closes about 2 seconds after opening. Is there a "Safe mode" or equivalent or something I can do to troubleshoot why the Desktop machine crashes? These are both Windows 11 machines.

You could try the Exp System Restore app.

Very helpful. I noticed my AIS stopped working recently in Exp 12.6 while using the Actisense NGX. Shortly after, Expedition began crashing on startup. I tried the Windows "repair" function, but it didn't resolve the issue. After seeing the mention of the Expedition system restore.exe program in this thread, I ran it and selected "All registry settings." That worked! AIS is now restored. I only had to re-enter a few unique user settings via the B&G websocket, along with my sailchart and polars.
