EXP 4D 12.4.6 crashes on routing + B&G H2000 calibrations option
Hi
2 issues:
1 - I've been seeing multiple crashes of Exp 4D 12.4.6 often on trying to route.
2 - The B&G calibrations screen for H2000 via HLink seems to have gone. It might have been missing some time... but was very useful.
If I move use the control panel to remove the software to go back to 12.3.11, which was stable, will I keep my display states and marks etc?

Yes, I think the cal interface has gone.
I don't know why you would see crashes. It might be worth trying the Exp system restore app. Start with Display states. You should back up settings from the menu at the top left first.

Will do on the restore. Any chance of the calibrations returning - your UI beats the hell out of an H2000 FFD!

Probably not sorry. They weren't implemented with the v12 upgrades as it would have been a lot of work and there are very few H2000 users now.
I do recall the pain though!

Did a display states restore and so far, so good. Thanks.
On the H2000 settings (and pain!) any reason why I can't run a copy of Exp 11 in addition?

I'm still seeing frequent crashes with 12.4.6 it crashed on passage yesterday, and a few minutes after completing a routing just now, I've reset registry settings a few times now, starting with display states and escalating to all settings to no avail. The most recent crash had the program simply quit with no warning, others have taken out bits of Windows loosing the desktop display and start menu, Virtually no other software installed, no other apps running on fully patched Win11.

I just found the problem - in number boxes.
Fixed. Build being posted just now.

No worries, thanks for sorting it. I say this time after time, but I work with software for a living, and I've never seen support like yours.

Hi
Bad news I'm afraid. I'm still getting occasional crashes on routing some of the time, but very much more stable than it was. Doesn't seem to matter if it is Grid or Isochronal routing. Only doing 35nm passage with pretty much default settings and 4 waypoints around a headland with a squid Arome HD wind forecast and tidal Grib.
