No mark information

Hello,

Taking on NAV on a charter boat for the Caribbean 600,

Jumping in on the system and finding that there is no mark bearing, Mark range, Mark time, etc. being calculated.

It’s a Sailmon processor, appears to be sending data properly to expedition via Nav Desk, we have position and wind, but no route related info is populating.

The other thing that is strange, I have no course over ground for any of my AIS targets, I have speed and position, but no course.

I’ve been digging through the Settings and can’t find anything obvious, hoping it’s something simple in the set up

Does anybody have any ideas of where I should look?

Re: No mark information

Which version of Exp? Do you have the magnetic model warning?

Re: No mark information

The warning message is a good indicator of what the problem is.

Either update the magnetic model from the Exp downloads page or update/upgrade Expedition.

Re: No mark information

Nick,

I am having the same issue with version 11.  I updated the Expedition config file with the two magnetic model files.  The magnetic warning went away but I don't have any bearing or distance to waypoints.  Also no layline information.
I double checked that the new files are in Expedition.  What else can I try to get this function working.

Re: No mark information

If you have boat position and an active mark, then I would still suspect the magnetic model.
