That can be imported direcly into Exp.
Just set MaxSea as the format type.
You also need a boat id file.

As you said I also had to build a boatid file, identifiant.txt

Below is the text for the boat ID file for the Maxsea tracking file
It's called identifiant.txt and is in unformatted text with no heading.
Import it as Maxsea named identifiant.txt
It's basically the 'sail numbers' and the display field which I chose to be the skippers name.
In some instances a sail number was on two boats and they adjusted as needed ie 5 and 5005
