N2K Pressure Sensors

Hi All,

We have some N2K pressure sensors sending pressure data over the N2K that we can read on the Zeus screens. They are currently in PSI. Does anyone know a way for Expedition to read these and then convert them to Kgs? We have a antisense so I am assuming I can see them somewhere.
The processor is a Hercules, and the pressure sensors are not read by it as far as I can tell.

Re: N2K Pressure Sensors

They are probably sent in the 65293 PGN (HLA Load Cell).

Re: N2K Pressure Sensors

Thanks Nick,
Is there anyway to Map them in Expedition to channels and do the maths to make the read in Kgs?

Re: N2K Pressure Sensors

If that is what they are, then it is already done. You just need to enable that PGN.

Re: N2K Pressure Sensors

Not sure there is any way of "doing the maths" within EXP.

Nick, would it be possible to have a "derived variables" ability in EXP?
Where we could do some maths with variables like:
* take two variables and add / subtract / multiply them together
* multiply a variable by a constant to change units or give it a calibration factor manually?

just pretty basic maths stuff
