I know I asked this before and you said there shouldn’t be anything that broke Exp serial control, but I think there is.

-I can confirm the lights on the keyspan adaptor light up if I activate a given channel
-also I confirmed the com port in the keyspan assistant for an empty port
-selected event 3 for ‘next mark’
-I then manually shorted pin 4 to pin 1 as in the manual, which should have activated Event 3.

But it didn’t.

Since there is nothing in the raw viewer or in the Assitant I can check, and it’s pretty sure the adapter itself work, I don’t know what else could be wrong or what else should I check.
