set first mark function

Hi,

I just noticed this thing:

I have an offshore course active, I set p and s and then add a first mark from bearing and distance.

why expedition use P and not S as reference point of axis?

usually race commite use it's position and sometimes windward mark ribman adjust it to the centre of the line, but not on p position.

if I set a w/l course the axis point it is correct, it is S and not P

I run two simulation,

1) put a p and s point, it is a large starting line, around 700 mt and than set the first mark with bearing 90° and distance 1 nm.

I attatched here some screenshot.

2) same P and S position I created a W/L course, bearing 90, distance 1NM
WM position is correct with reference point of axis S,

also if I choose L above P, wm WM is in correct position

it is a little bug for 1?

Re: set first mark function

Thanks. The marks were all completely redone recently and this seems to have been broken.

Will fix asap, but am at Mets this week.

Re: set first mark function

Hello,

I had a look at it and think it is as intended.

Maybe email me.
