I recently bought an 11" ipad pro M4.

It's very bright.

So far, I have only used it with ipad apps for cruising and recreational sailing. I haven't done any remote display of expedition, but because it is quite readable, I will probably give it a go.

I always forget to turn auto chart off when I start expedition, and at some point, it selects a raster chart when i am using 4D, or selects a different raster chart when i am using raster charts or world map.

Can auto chart off be saved after shutting down as a display sate?

The other thing that doesn't seem to get saved for raster charts is True North Up - I think it always goes back to Chart up.

My race notes make a mess of the display.
Sometimes I want to see them, but sometimes I don't - especially if i want to take a screenshot to send to crew.
It would be great if there were a toggle, for all race notes.
It's a pain to turn them on and off if I have a lot of them.

Does expedition support teh SHOM charts for france

One reason I thought it might be the actisense, is because the zeus has set and drift - so i guessed it was on the n2k network

For some reason, I do not get set and drift over actisense. It is visible on H5000 displays, so it is being calculated by H50000

If i look at N2K pgn's, Rx 129291 set and drift is checked.

If i look a the raw data, i do not see set and drift.

I am having expedition do the calculation, but i would like to figure out what is wrong with my Actisense setup.

any ideas?

If I have georeferenced images in Charts > Images, the bounding boxes seem always to be drawn.

Is there a way to turn off those boxes, other than by clearing the image list?

I tried moving my old NT charts to a new laptop, but it didn't work.

I guess, you are not supposed to be able to do this, but it worked once in the past, by just entering that long license code from the old laptop into the NT selector on the new laptop.

i used the original disk.

Now, trying to do it again on yet another new laptop, everything seems to go fine, and I get message saying my charts have been successfully installed.., but they don't actually appear in expedition.

Does anyone have any ideas about getting this to work?

If I understand correctly, expedition does not support some or all of the extra features in the platinum + charts above those in the regular navionics + charts.
The navionics + probably has smaller file sizes than platinum +, so will it load faster in expedition?
