I see the wave table now. But what is the 'correct polar for waves if available' setting working off of ? The waves table?

Trying to better understand the influence of 'Waves' in the optimize tab vs. using 'correct polar for waves if available'. Using waves from WW3 model GRIB that was obtained through Expedition/GFS .25 download. Definitely downloading sig wav height and prim wav direction
Ran routing using both.
Waves in the Optimal tab generated two identical routes. Do not have ability to set any parameters in this tab.
'correct polar for waves if available' generated two identical when selected and not selected
Do not have a wave correction table.

what are both of these selected inputs supposed to be working off of?

limiting routing to avoid waves greater than certain heights works with this GRIB file

Hi Ernie ... we have both racetracking and tracking folder ... both appear to have proper ACLs inherited from expedition folder as similar to our grib folder which is working. Any additional ideas? We cannot see the full error message ... just "Unable to create c:/Program Data/Expedit" ... the rest goes off the screen Thanks for helping us resolve

mgh - can you clarify what you mean by 'turned on'? I have tried to download dircectly from OPC and import the ASCAT file as well as using Exp to retrieve, yet I can't seem to be able to view any data ...

Is there a way to batch export the individual optimization routes as .csv files to a folder?

Hello
I noticed that TWAs are inconsistently generated in the optimization output. Some negative numbers are in a general format i.e. (160°) (Note degree symbol) and some are in a numerical format i.e. (160). Is there a way to correct this in Expedition so that all are in the same format? I'm trying to export data into a some marcos.

I'm creating a current grib file over a geo synched image in order to run some optimization routes with historical re analysis gribs. How do I set the validity time for the current grib?

How do yo make it a climatologically mean current.
