    Creating a climatologically mean current

    I'm creating a current grib file over a geo synched image in order to run some optimization routes with historical re analysis gribs. How do I set the validity time for the current grib? 

    How do yo make it a climatologically mean current.

    when you make the current grib, just set the valid time for for any date before your first optimization based on the reanalysis data

    then select "extend current in time" and "always show current"
