Understood and yes I've reviewed the weather pages. Sure enough, my EC download only went out to H90 which was short for the routing solution.
If I am understanding correctly, a GRIB download requesting X number of days will not throw an error at me if Expedition is unable to download the entire requested time period. Expedition will just download the interval that is available. I do need to pay closer attention to the hours checkbox list.
How exactly does one request download for an older GRIB?

ECMWF 0.25, 6 day fetch from Saildocs optimize/produces a routing solution fine over my route.
Same route and start time. EC HRES 0.25, 6 day fetch from Expedition. Optimize errors with "Unable to continue".
What am I missing?

FYI might be useful for some. Both my service provider and Iridium confirmed that voice mail waiting indication is not working properly on the Exec. Triggered by that, I also tested our Go! and 9555 and they also seem to have the same problem. Fix is in the works but no ETA. Check your Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions ... this might impact your ability to satisfy race requirements. Cheers.

Folks. I have a current GRIB for a single point in time. This will work for routing purposes (Extend in Time), but means the GRIB detail vanishes from screen when the display time advances.
Is there tooling available which can modify/extend a GRIB out over a user specified time?
Or should I just capture a screen shot and import as a geo-referenced image which will be static as display time advances?
Appreciate your thoughts. Cheers

Hi. Hoping to learn more about how NDBC buoy data is collected by Expedition. I have in the past used Saildocs with direct requests to buoy URLs, but I see the NDBC list of buoys and their online status varies quite a bit. Much prefer to use the Expedition Observations.
How is Expedition determining list of buoys, display or not, etc.?

Folks. I have route where a coastal high res wind model will cover early stages of the route, with the remainder of the route covered by two global models. Performing Ensemble with all three models throws an error due to the local model not covering the entire course.
Doing an Optimize with the three models does produce a result.
It appears that Ensemble requires all wind models to span the entire route, where Optimize will combine the three to produce a result?
What am I not understanding?
