    connecting Expedition to Furuno NavNet TZ Touch

    I'm looking to connect Expedition to a Furuno NavNet TZ Touch 14 and wanted to see if anyone has experience with it.  I understand there are 2 options using: a) the LAN/ Ethernet connection or b) a NMEA 2000 connection via USB cable or wireless gateway.
    Are there any pros and cons to these 2 options and is one better than the other? I'm also looking to send data from Expedition to the instruments and wondering whether one of the options won't allow that.
