    Satphone

    Any suggestions on Satphone plans for a Newport Bermuda Race in terms of data usage with fairly frequent WX and GS updates, and perhaps an occasional glance at the Yellowbrick Tracker?

    We will be using an Iridium Go, along with the OCENS package. We have used it for the last year for Annapolis-Newport and Marblehead-Halifax. It isn't perfect, but we have gotten used to its quirks, and it fits our needs nicely.

    Slight caution here.  GO alone does not meet race requirements.  We will carry a GO and 9555.
