    Insufficient Wind Forcasts?

    Hi;
    I am getting a message as follows: "Unable to continue, due to insufficient wind forecasts" when I try to get my route. I use Saildocs as my weather and have my start time as "Now". The box I make for weather is larger than my route.

    Ron,
    Make sure you ask for and get a long enough forecast for your race.
    Also you can try:
    Settings > Optimal Routing > Data Options > Extend Wind in time

    I was looking for the optimal route from Bermuda to Newport, and I put in 10 days to be safe. But I still got the same result.

    are you sure you don't have the start set for the 'Return' race June 26th??

    I just tried the GFS 10 day from Saildocs under Wx Data,,,worked fine

    What model are you using?

    I am using Saildocs, all models. It worked before when I was plotting St. Maarten to Newport. But I must be doing something wrong. I am a TOTAL rookie with Expedition. I'll try Saildocs but only with GFS.

    from the WX Tab look at the Wind Models and scroll down the date and times to make sure you're getting what you expected

    I've done all that has been suggested, but I am still getting the same result.

    top right hand corner little circle with a ? in it click that and tell me what version your on
