    Navigator packing list

    Hello,

    I'm fairly new to the job as a navigator.
    What do you pack for an offshore race, and what for inshore racing?
    Of course the navigation relating stuff. Not foul weather gear etc.

    Highly individual obviously but this is on my list:

    * Hand bearing compass
    * Weather forecast and tide table
    * VHF and Harness for VHF
    * Charged ipad
    * if I use iDataNet or Ventus: charged phone
    * Videocam for onboard recording
    * USB stick with grib files and anything useful from yesterday's analysis
