It would be nice to run certain existing Expedition functions from a command line. That would allow one to write a batch file to execute certain repetitive tasks without making mistakes. For example, one could run several variations of a routing where all the routing settings are defined in the command line or an input file. That way, one (a) avoids the risk of forgetting an important checkbox and (b) would not have to interact with the GUI for several similar but slightly different workflows. Another example would be downloading weather files, for example a command to download a pre-selected set of WRF files.
