drawing tool (ie, a beefed-up divider)
Enhanced drawing tool for drawing and moving lines and/or circles around. Assign different colors? The current divider drawing tool only lets the user to draw a line, but not move it once drawn.

Not sure how you want to use it but when you use 'visual marks' tool under the 'Marks' tab,
you are essentially drawing a series of lines (or one if you want) then any point on that line can be moved, can have a circle around it at a diameter of your choice and the length and bearing of the line is given.
also you can ping a single point (mark) and define a circle around it. The colour can be changed but is limited to a choice for all your routes.
Unless you 'lock' them you can click and drag the points as needed.
You can also draw boxes and shapes with the 'Race Notes' of any shape and these can be coloured on an individual basis and the points dragged unless marked.
Will any of this help? How exactly do you want to use the lines and circles?

hi ernie,
it would be useful to be able to draw a line (such as a line of bearing) and then have the ability to (1) adjust either end to change the angle; (2) move the entire line without adjusting either end or (3) change its color. this is useful for route planning purposes like setting up clearing bearings, etc.

You're right, the 'work arounds' I suggested can do (1) or (3) but not (2).
