Waypoints as race note points
Is there an option to insert marks/waypoints as race note points? My current procedure is to first draw the race note roughly and then edit the different race note points to the right coordinates. There probably is a more efficient way, or there could be one.

That's a good thought but I think there would be a few problems: you would have to be able to state which race note you wanted to assign it to; the mark then might not work in the optimization route.
I find the most efficient way to deal with the situation you are speaking of is to right click on the race note area select edit race note and unlock it, then use left 'click and hold' to drag each point to exactly where I want it on the zoomed in chart. Then I relock the race note. I find that way easier than typing in L/L to 3 decimal places.
