Idea was that Expedition could provide a wind speed/direction temp and baro that could be accessed by other Expedition users as a real/recent weather observation. 
This could be anonymized - havent looked at any ramifications for use in racing (outside assistance?) but could be available to other Expedition users as a current (or delayed, polled at an interval)
This could add to the observations data, and then used for the model observation errors off land.
