I practice with the Expedition Race Schedules module to the extent possible and I am trying to acquire the YellowBrick link that I need to enter in the Race Schedule dialog box in order to download the position report / boat id files for his year's upcoming Sydney Hobart event. I realize that it is early but I always seem to have difficulty locating that info on race websites. If anyone has the link from last year I would appreciate it as the format is generally the same from year-to-year with only the year itself being altered. I would appreciate the YB interface link and the Expedition format link if that data is still used in the newest version of Exp.
Thanks.

Short version. You want the "rolexs2h2014" short code to pull the data. However, I am not sure if Expedition will pull from a static set, or if it needs a change to calculate the movement.
If you need to pull the data progressively, you can use the tools below to pull the final position report, and modify it to reflect a specific time update. If you need details, reach out and I can walk through in a bit more detail.
Long version:
Here is the list of links for Sydney to Hobart 2014:
From there, the following are the Expedition pieces:
Position Report:
Boat IDs:
If you have a use for the XML data (such as pulling the SOG and COG of a boat), you can access it through the following:
That same data is also available through the "Simple" view, but that may be more data intensive than what you want, depending on the need:
You can also use the XML feed to pull multiple updates in reverse, by modifying the URL. The documentation for the API is here:
YB Tracking API Notes
I spent a good deal of time playing with the YB data feed during the wind up for Annapolis-Newport and Marblehead-Halifax. If you have some questions around it, don't hesitate to reach out.

You handled my requirement and then some. At this point I am not proficient enough with Race Schedules to utilize any feeds other than the YB plug-in for the dialog box but next on my list to work with is the Expedition reports which I expect to be able to obtain with the additional links that you sent.
Thanks.
